AB  - Pediatric  and  adult  patients  with  ventricular  shunts  frequently  seek  medical  attention  in  acute  care  settings  with  complaints  that  may  or  may  not  be  caused  by  a  malfunction  and/or  infection  of  these  indwelling  devices.
