Useful  resources  in  managing  patients  exposed  to  industrial  chemicals  include  material  safety  data  sheets  and  local  poison  control  centers.  Special  at  risk  groups  include  pregnant  women  (the  medical  focus  should  be  on  treating  the  mother  first,  with  early  obstetric  consultation)  and  children.
