The vesicles are extremely pruritic, may coalesce into larger bullae, and may rupture to become dry or fissured. The outbreak usually resolves over a few weeks unless secondary infection develops. The differential includes bullous tinea, id reaction, scabies infestation, or allergic contact dermatitis.
