AB Causes  of  vulvovaginitis  include  infections,  irritants,  allergies,  reaction  to  foreign  bodies,  and  atrophy.  The  normal  vaginal  flora  helps  maintain  an  acidic  pH  between  3.8  and  4.5,  which  decreases  pathogen  growth.
